Many companies offer printed trainings catalogues in the classical sense, which list the seminar offerings. In the simplest cases, Persis allows you to present this offering electronically and thereby avoid the hassle of printing and mechanical distribution.
The processes behind the Persis continuing education module contain far more however. You can tailor access to particular target groups (e.g. filter according to activity or hierarchy) and thereby permit them to view only certain portions of the offering. One can thus avoid the clamor caused employees registering for courses not intended for them. Moreover, imagine you are conducting an employee meeting and in order to reach a respective goal, various measures are envisioned. These measures can be recorded directly in the target agreement. An employee may then view the respective seminars and book a date for his choice directly.
The single or multiple level workflow of the clearance functionality then comes into play. When an employee makes a seminar request, the supervisor (cost center holder) is informed. He must then give a response and either accept or reject the measure.
Depending on the steps performed in the company, further authorization steps can be carried out, of which the PD department may be directly informed or not. This occurs through a portal process, whereby a work-order to book a seminar can be filed out and forwarded for further processing to the responsible party.
In addition to providing a platform to offer seminars requiring approval, Persis can likewise offer seminars that must not or may, if desired, require approval from a supervisor. Thus, e.g. seminars with respect to work safety are made possible without supervisor confirmation even being necessary.
Compulsory seminars, which must be attended to comply with certain deadlines or certifications, are also managed by Persis.
